We're continuing to develop CheckCells' microTESE assistance capabilities for embryologists, working closely with a fertility clinic in Lugano, Switzerland. Through ongoing reviews, evaluations, and iterative updates to the procedure workflow, our goal is to understand exactly how CheckCells can best support lab professionals during this demanding process.
One key insight from our work with the clinic: embryologists currently have to manually track how many motile sperm they've identified as sufficient for the next cycle, while also remembering the precise location of each viable sperm across the dish. This mental and manual load adds pressure during an already meticulous procedure, and it's exactly the kind of challenge we're focused on assisting with.
