DNA Fragmentation Test

A sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) test measures the proportion of sperm carrying damaged or broken genetic material. While a standard semen analysis checks for count and motility, an SDF test looks inside the sperm to check for "broken pages" in the DNA instruction manual. High fragmentation can lower your chances of conception and increase the risk of miscarriage, even if your basic semen parameters are normal.
